All you need is a mobile phone. Create a text message using the registration number as your text. Send this text message to 86007. You will receive detailed information about that registration number from CarSpotter.

Say your car has the registration number CS 86 007. Just send a text message ‘CS86007’ to 86007. CarSpotter sends you a maximum of three messages in return about its price and performance, depending on the information available.

CarSpotter is not a subscription service. If you text a registration number to 86007, CarSpotter sends you a maximum of three text messages costing £1.50 each. Maximum total cost £4.50, plus the charge for the use of your mobile phone.
